Spring 2009 will see the release of one of Volkorens finest releases so far: the debut album of new signing Kim Janssen. Yes, it is a bloke and no, he's not Korean. He does have a lifetime full of travelling all over the world, and a great talent for writing and performing songs.

 

We were asked to help with the artwork for his first recording. Kims sister Sarah made some nice illustrations and came up a rough idea for the artwork. We took the elements and made it into something that would really contribute to the overall feeling of the music it would be carrying. The gold stars on the front are all handmade, and the textsheet plus the CD itself have a nice golden ink ground.
