Cup with a crack. Yes. That is the title for this sixth album of Psalmen Voor Nu. It’s about a very depressive man who feels he is an object that should be thrown away. A worthless piece of dung. But the angels do arrive at the end of the day, and everything works out. The music is pretty much influenced by the eighties; dark wave riffs, cold, reverb-ed voices… you remember. This gave us the opportunity to use a dirty, rusted metal background, and decayed, clay letters. Looking at it, it reminds me of the golden years of bands like The Pixies, and Michael Brooke.
